Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of My Brick. By creating an account or using My Brick, you agree to these Terms.
Platform purpose
My Brick is an online property discovery and engagement platform. It helps people explore listings through virtual tours, virtual open houses, private virtual showings, messaging, and AI Property Assistant features where enabled, and helps authorized professionals manage related MyBrick activity.
My Brick does not replace licensed real-estate advice, legal advice, appraisals, inspections, or brokerage representation. Property decisions remain yours.
Accounts and roles
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
My Brick supports role-based experiences such as Buyer, Seller, Agent, Brokerage, and Builder. Access to features depends on your active roles, organization membership, and listing authorization.
Brokerage and Builder organization administrators are responsible for the members they invite and for organization-level settings they control.
Listings and content responsibilities
Professionals who create or manage listings are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights to publish listing content, media, tour materials, open-house details, and AI assistant knowledge.
You must not upload content you do not have rights to use, or content that is unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, or infringing.
We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or create safety, legal, or platform integrity risks.
Virtual Tours, Open Houses, and Private Showings
Virtual Tours are digital experiences based on content provided by listing managers. They may not depict every physical condition of a property.
Live Virtual Open Houses may use host-configured external meeting links. Hosts are responsible for the meeting destination they configure and for conducting the event appropriately.
Private Virtual Showings are scheduling and coordination features within My Brick. Actual access arrangements remain between the parties involved.
AI Property Assistant
Where enabled, the AI Property Assistant answers questions using listing knowledge configured by authorized managers and related listing context.
AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. Do not treat AI answers as legal, financial, structural, or brokerage advice. Verify important details independently.
Messaging, leads, and analytics
Messaging is intended for property-related communication within My Brick. Do not use messaging to harass others or to solicit unlawful activity.
Leads and analytics reflect MyBrick engagement activity visible to authorized professionals under product rules. They are not a general CRM or guarantee of buyer intent or transaction outcomes.
Subscriptions and billing
Some professional capabilities may require a paid plan. Billing is handled through Stripe. Plan features, limits, and renewal terms are presented in the Plan & Subscription experience and related checkout flows.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by My Brick.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse My Brick, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service integrity, scrape beyond permitted use, reverse engineer except where legally protected, or use the platform to violate housing, privacy, intellectual-property, or other applicable laws.
Third-party services
My Brick relies on third-party infrastructure and providers (for example hosting, authentication/database services, and Stripe). External meeting tools chosen by open-house hosts are governed by those providers’ terms.
We are not responsible for third-party sites or services outside our reasonable control.
Availability, changes, and disclaimers
We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change as we improve the product.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY BRICK IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT LISTING INFORMATION OR AI OUTPUT IS COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Brick and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the platform.
Termination
You may stop using My Brick at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, security risk, non-payment, or prolonged inactivity, subject to applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require another jurisdiction’s laws, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
